Q) WHAT IS A PEEL?

A) Chemical peels, also known as chemexfoliation or derma-peeling, are a technique used to improve the appearance of the skin. In these treatments, a chemical solution is applied to the skin, causing peeling. Picture peeling an onion and removing the top layers to expose new fresh supple skin.

Q) WHAT CAN PEELS CORRECT ON MY SKIN?

A) Chemical peels can help with major to minor skin problems. They improve texture, elasticity and health of the skin. Unclogging deep rooted debris and bacteria in the pores can heal mild to severe acne and preventing future breakouts. Can pull out pigmentation and scarring discolorations, rebuild collagen and elastin to reveal a youthful younger looking skin.

Q)WHAT KIND OF "PEELING" CAN I EXPECT?

A) It depends upon your desired results. You can expect anywhere from minor tightening and redness, to minor flakes or excessive peeling and blistering. Usually lasting anywhere from 2- 4 days. It also will depend upon the type of peel we chose to use.

Q) CAN ALL OF THESE RESULTS BE DONE IN 1 TREATMENT

A) Yes and no! Yes your skin can look better just 1 week after your first peel, the texture, tone, breakout and uneven discoloration can look and feel better. However we encourage you to do a series of 6 peels every 5 - 10 days to create longer lasting, and more intensive results.
